Appraisal Service Fees

We offer a fully equipped mobile gemology laboratory for on-site jewelry appraisals, brining our expertise directly to you. We are happy to meet at your home, office, bank, or elsewhere. (Client must provide electricity and sufficient space to set up appraisal equipment.)

All jewelry inspections will be performed in your presence, ensuring trust and transparency. Completed appraisal reports will be digitally sent to you in a timely manner.

  • For Insurance and Estate Appraisals

    First Item: $150

    Each Additional Item: $50-100 (depending on complexity of piece)

    10+ Items: Hourly Rate Available

  • For consultations, inventory assistance, cataloging, verbal evaluations, and more

    $150/hour (billed in half-hour increments)

  • For items previously appraised by California Jewelry Appraisals

    Within 5 years of original appraisal report: 50% off current appraisal fees
